Jamaican, Thai exotic fusion

Tiss is a Thai Chef who grew up in a farming family in Northeastern Thailand, later living in Bangkok and now Cairns. She has worked in a restaurant and ran street food restaurants before so she has bountiful experience with Thai food, specially Thai northeast style. Growing up on a farm she has experience with growing food naturally and a great understanding of local foods.

Her partner Gypsy, grew up inheriting his taste for Jamaican style cuisine from his Grandmother who came from Kingston, Jamaica where they use a lot of jerk seasoning in their cooking.

Gypsy's Jamaican background + Tiss' love for Thai food meant running a fusion restaurant together would be an authentic, creative concept. And so, Jam Thai was born...
